Build the skills needed to become a high-performing team member of an Agile Release Train (ART)—and learn how to collaborate effectively with other teams—by becoming a SAFe® 6.0 Practitioner (SP Certification).
During this two-day AI-Empowered SAFe for Teams Training course, gain an in-depth understanding of the ART, how it delivers value, and what you can do to effectively perform your role using Scrum, Kanban, and XP. Learn how to write stories and break down features, plan and execute iterations, and plan Program Increments. Finally, learn about the continuous delivery pipeline and DevOps culture, how to effectively integrate with other teams in the program, and what it takes to continuously improve the train.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course, but we recommend you have completed Learning Tree course 1817, Leading SAFe® Certification Training, prior to this one.

Certification Information
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Number of Questions: 45
- Passing Score: 77%
- Delivery: Web-based, closed book, no outside assistance, timed
- Access: Practice and certification exams are available in your Scaled Agile Community portal under the course you’re attending.
- Cost: Initial cost is included in the course registration fee if taken within 30 days of course completion.
- Retake Fee: $50; $250 for SPCs
- Retake Policy: First retake may be taken immediately after the first failed attempt. Second retake may be taken 10 days after the first retake. Third retake may be taken 30 days after the second retake. All subsequent retakes require a 30-day wait.

Module 1: Introducing SAFe and AI-Empowered SAFe
- Explore the Scaled Agile Framework and the five disciplines of the Lean-Agile organization
- Understand SAFe foundations, including Lean thinking, Agile values, core values, and Lean-Agile principles
- Learn the basics of AI, ML, DL, GenAI, RAG, and agentic AI
- Apply responsible AI practices and identify common AI risks
Module 2: Forming Agile Teams as an Agile Release Train
- Understand the characteristics and responsibilities of Agile Teams
- Explore the Scrum Master/Team Coach and Product Owner roles
- Use SAFe Scrum and SAFe Team Kanban to visualize and improve flow
- Recognize how teams operate within an Agile Release Train and where AI can augment team responsibilities
Module 3: Connecting to the Customer
- Build empathy for the customer using design thinking tools such as personas, Gemba, and empathy maps
- Align to product vision, roadmaps, architectural runway, and features
- Write better stories, acceptance criteria, and story maps
- Use generative AI and prompting techniques to draft and refine stories responsibly
Module 4: Planning the Work
- Participate in PI Planning and understand objectives, risks, capacity, and dependencies
- Commit with team planning through Iteration Planning and iteration goals
- Refine the backlog continuously and prepare a ready backlog for upcoming work
- Explore how AI can improve clarity, alignment, estimation, and planning outcomes
Module 5: Continuously Delivering Value
- Understand the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps culture
- Use synchronization events such as Team Sync, ART Sync, and System Demos to stay aligned
- Build in quality with agile engineering and quality practices
- Evaluate data quality and AI-generated output as part of responsible delivery
