Certification Requirements
Before applying to take the PMI-ACP exam, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Secondary degree, such as a high school diploma, GED (general educational development), or global equivalent
- 24 months/ 2 years of agile experience within the last 5 years (a current PMP® satisfies this requirement but is not mandatory
28 hours of training in agile practices, frameworks, and methodologies. Candidates with a third-party certification or who have completed a GAC core project management course, are pre-approved to fulfill this requirement.

Certification Information
To earn this certification, you must take and pass the three-hour PMI-ACP® exam, comprised of 120 multiple-choice questions (these three hours are factored into the total training time required by PMI).
